For nine days, Joshua Vides worked inside the Petersen Automotive Museum with a deceptively simple premise: take five real cars, take away their visual depth, and redraw the entire room around them.

At O Days Festival 2026 in Copenhagen, sound takes a strangely quiet form. Speaker, a new installation by Copenhagen-based studio Frederik Gustav, borrows the unmistakable geometry of a loudspeaker and removes everything that makes it function as one. No sound comes out of it. Instead, the piece catches light, bodies and fragments of the surrounding festival, turning a familiar piece of audio hardware into a large-scale visual surface.

Yaroslav Fushchich is a Russian photographer based in Saint Petersburg whose work moves through contemporary stories with a vivid sense of colour, atmosphere and place. His images are attentive to the details that usually pass unnoticed: a particular quality of daylight, the character of an urban corner, a gesture held for a second longer than necessary. Across his photographs, different subjects become fragments of larger narratives, each one carrying its own emotional temperature.

At Sanjiaodi Park in Changping, Beijing, a familiar object from the city’s everyday history has been given a new role. Designed by XISUI Design, the BK640 Bus Playground transforms the classic BK640 bus into an interactive space for children, shifting it from a vehicle once defined by movement through the city to a structure designed for movement within a park.
