Boca Juniors’ third away kit for the 2026–27 season is beginning to surface through international retailers, offering an early look at one of adidas’ most fashion-conscious football designs of the year. Officially unveiled by the club soon, the shirt leans heavily into vintage sportswear, landing somewhere between a classic football jersey and the buttoned-up uniforms associated with baseball.
The design takes its cues from Boca’s 2006–07 away kit, but the result feels remarkably easy to remove from the stadium and place almost anywhere else. A clean white base is cut by narrow navy pinstripes, while a broad white panel crosses the chest, creating space for the Betsson sponsor. Navy returns around the collar and sleeve cuffs, giving the shirt a neat, structured finish.

The details push the retro character further. adidas replaces its usual performance-era branding with the iconic Trefoil on the right chest, while the CABJ crest appears as a traditional embroidered badge. An anchor graphic sits beneath the collar on the back, adding another small reference to the club’s visual language.

There is something particularly interesting about the silhouette itself. The vertical stripes, restrained palette and heavier sportswear references make it feel closer to the kind of shirt associated with baseball diamonds than football terraces. That gives the Boca Juniors piece an unusually broad wardrobe potential: it works as clubwear, but it also has the visual language of a vintage sports shirt that can exist comfortably beyond match day.
The 2026–27 away kit is expected to arrive alongside a matching adidas Originals collection in the coming weeks, extending the design beyond the pitch and further into contemporary streetwear.

For Boca Juniors, it is a familiar piece of club history reworked into something that feels equally at home in the stands, on the street or somewhere far removed from football altogether.
